Barren River Animal Welfare Association Promotes Big Dog Adoptions at Oct. 17 Event

The Barren River Animal Welfare Association (BRAWA) in Glasgow is showcasing successful adoptions of larger dogs through its Big Hearts for Big Paws campaign. While many big dogs have found homes, BRAWA reports that several are still looking for families.

To encourage adoptions, the organization invites the community to an event on Saturday, October 17, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at their location on 175 Trojan Trail. Hill’s Pet Nutrition is sponsoring the campaign, and BRAWA has expressed gratitude for their support in helping these dogs find homes.

BRAWA also acknowledges the adopters who have opened their hearts and homes to these pets. During the event, potential adopters can meet the dogs still awaiting homes, with reduced adoption fees for larger dogs, along with special giveaways and food available for attendees.
