The integration of CareCredit's financing offers into the Vetspire workflow enables a faster and simpler checkout process by eliminating the need for external payment terminals. This change not only reduces administrative steps but also allows for more seamless financial discussions between veterinary teams and pet owners during appointments.
Vetspire, which is already used by over 1,000 veterinary hospitals and clinics, combines scheduling, billing, and client communications within one customizable platform. Its AI capabilities support providers by enhancing workflow efficiency, enabling self-check-in for clients, and aiding in accurate record-keeping. Features like an AI scribe help veterinarians focus on patient care while maintaining efficient documentation.
Jonathan Wainberg, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Pet at Synchrony, emphasized the importance of this partnership in modernizing payment experiences in veterinary care. By embedding CareCredit's financing options into Vetspire's system, both companies aim to reduce administrative burdens and improve the overall experience for clients and their pets.
The collaboration not only offers integrated payment solutions but also provides veterinary practices with additional resources from CareCredit, including marketing materials and business intelligence support. Currently, around 85% of Vetspire users are already enrolled with CareCredit, and this partnership will extend these benefits to more veterinary practices across the nation.
Joe Mazzarella, General Manager of Vetspire, highlighted the goal of removing operational obstacles for veterinary professionals to enhance their focus on animal care. As the integration continues, both companies plan to share data that illustrates the impact of this collaboration on the operational and financial performance of veterinary clinics.
