The Cat Lifesaving & Adoption Center aims to improve cat adoption services and will be entirely funded through donations, fundraising, grants, and community support, as stated in a FOMAS news release. According to the release, the new space is expected to offer more than traditional adoption services, including increased spay and neuter assistance for both cats and dogs, an expanded transport network for animals needing to be relocated, and more opportunities for cats to find homes.

FOMAS representatives emphasized that the center will strengthen the services provided by Mobile Animal Services and contribute to local animal welfare resources. Individuals interested in supporting the project can participate in the FOMAS Kitty City campaign.
