A family in Houston County, Tennessee, has been reunited with their cat, Olivander, months after the animal was reportedly shot in the face and subsequently went missing. The Nashville animal rescue organization Proverbs 12:10 Animal Rescue facilitated the reunion.

Olivander was injured in March and received veterinary treatment. Following his recovery, he escaped from the family’s home after returning from the vet and was unaccounted for until recently, when the family spotted him in footage captured during the rescue's efforts to assist other stray cats in the area.
The case surrounding Olivander has drawn attention to a series of alleged attacks on local cats, including a kitten named Xena, which required extensive surgery after being found with a dart lodged in its torso. Additionally, an adult cat was found deceased in a parking lot with an arrow embedded in its side.
Proverbs 12:10 Animal Rescue is urging anyone with information, videos, or evidence related to these incidents to reach out to Houston County law enforcement. Three individuals have already been charged in connection with various reports of cats being harmed by blow darts in Erin.
