The Rabbit Small Bites consist of 85% humanely raised rabbit, including organ and bone, and include certified organic, non-GMO vegetables such as spinach, broccoli, carrots, and butternut squash. The formula is free from grains and fillers, offering pet owners a high-quality, whole food option.
These shelf-stable bites come in 7-ounce and 20-ounce bags and can be rehydrated for a complete meal or served as a nutritious topper.
Steve Donzelli, CEO of Smallbatch, stated, “We’re always looking for thoughtful ways to give pet parents more variety. Rabbit is a great novel protein for dogs who need something different, and we’re excited to offer it in an easy, convenient format without compromising the ingredient quality we care so much about.”
As a novel protein, rabbit can be a beneficial choice for dogs with sensitivities or those undergoing elimination diets. This option allows pet parents to provide a greater variety of protein sources through rotational feeding while still enjoying the benefits of freeze-dried convenience.
Rabbit joins the existing Smallbatch Freeze-Dried Small Bites flavors of Beef, Chicken, Turkey, Duck, and Lamb. All recipes feature humanely raised meats paired with certified organic produce, designed to simplify whole food feeding for pet owners at home or while traveling.
Rabbit Freeze-Dried Small Bites for Dogs will be available at independent pet retailers nationwide starting in October 2026.
