Chewy is centering its growth strategy on pet health, aiming to expand its offerings in pharmacy, supplements, prescription diets, insurance, telemedicine, and veterinary clinics. However, Singh acknowledged that consumer interest in discretionary pet categories has decreased, particularly following increased market pressures observed in March and April, which led to an adjustment in the company's forecasts.
