A variety of animals, including dogs, cats, rabbits, pigs, and goats, will be available for adoption. The adoption package includes spay or neuter surgery, microchipping, age-appropriate vaccinations, and a starter-care package to help pets adjust to their new homes.
Standard adoption procedures will be in place, ensuring that all potential adopters undergo the shelter's usual screening process to guarantee that each animal is placed in a safe and loving environment.
The shelter operates Tuesday through Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. For intake appointments, interested individuals can call 410-535-7387. The facility is located at 5055 Hallowing Point Road in Prince Frederick.
