She is described as an easygoing companion who adapts well to car rides and is comfortable being left alone. Orchid has a calm demeanor, rarely barks, and enjoys the company of other calm dogs. While she has medium energy levels and requires regular exercise, she loves belly rubs, salmon, and shredding packing materials.

Due to Orchid’s prey drive, it is recommended that she be placed in a home without small animals, including cats and small dogs. Orchid is among many animals at the Santa Clarita Valley Animal Care Center seeking loving families.

The shelter is located at 31044 N. Charlie Canyon Road and is open for adoptions from Monday to Saturday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, potential adopters can call 661-257-3191.
