Each fee-waived adoption will cover spay or neuter surgery, microchipping, and vaccinations, though a $10 pet license fee may be applicable. To prepare for the event, attendees are encouraged to visit animalfoundation.com/adopt-a-pet/adoption-search to view available pets.
Adoptions will be conducted on a first-come, first-served basis. A virtual waitlist can be accessed by scanning the QR code posted on the adoption lobby door, which will be active starting at 8 am.
Additionally, shelter officials emphasize that holds cannot be placed on adoptable animals and advise that current pets should not be brought to the shelter, as in-shelter dog introductions will not be allowed. The Animal Foundation is located at 655 N Mojave Road, near Bonanza.
