This research aims to gather data that can enhance training for service and police dogs. Additionally, it will explore how dogs influence human behaviors, including their effects on stress levels. Associate Psychology Professor Jeffrey Stevens, who developed the program, is particularly interested in studying dogs' patience and their ability to control temptations.
Currently, around 150 dogs have already been enrolled, and the program has no limit on the number of applicants.
