ROCKFORD, Ill. – Hillary, a two-year-old domestic short-hair cat, is looking for a permanent home at Winnebago County Animal Services. She is a brown tabby who arrived at the shelter as a stray alongside several other kittens. While staff members are uncertain if the kittens were hers, they note that Hillary seems to get along well with other cats and would thrive with a feline companion.

According to Amber Pinnon from Winnebago County Animal Services, Hillary is sweet and soft-spoken. "She comes up to you, and head nudges you and really wants affection," Pinnon said, highlighting her gentle nature.
Pinnon also stated that Hillary would likely adapt well to various home environments as long as her new family allows her time to adjust. "I think that someone will fall in love with Hillary when they look in her beautiful, beautiful big brown cat eyes and see how much she really wants that affection and that connection," she added.
