ZANESVILLE, OH – We Lov Pets and the Animal Shelter Society are celebrating 26 years of service with a special adoption event. The anniversary event will kick off on Thursday, September 24, and will feature a $10 adoption fee for all cats at both We Lov Pets and the Animal Shelter Society.

April Gibson, Executive Director of the Animal Shelter, emphasized the collaboration with We Lov Pets, noting their shared mission to find loving homes for animals. She praised the pet store's operations, saying, “These are our felines that are here, they do an amazing job for us… we’ve always asked to be a part of their Anniversary sale for the last 4 or 5 years.”
The $10 adoption fee includes alteration surgery, vaccines appropriate for the cat's age, nail trimming, flea and tick treatment, and microchipping.
Miranda Cartwright, Manager of We Lov Pets, expressed enthusiasm about the celebration and the ongoing partnership with the Animal Shelter. “I know I’ve been here for 16 of those years and to just give back to the community with our sale and also help adopt kitties out on that day is super special,” she said.
The anniversary event will take place on Saturday, October 3rd, with We Lov Pets open from 9 AM to 8 PM, while the Animal Shelter Society will be present from 9 AM to 4 PM. For more information or to fill out the adoption form, interested individuals can contact the Animal Shelter.
