Purrfect Pals, a cat adoption center and rehabilitation program, is hosting its annual Black Cat Ball on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at the Edmonds Waterfront to raise funds for homeless cats and those with special needs. The proceeds will support shelter care, foster care, adoption programs, veterinary services, food, medication, and specialized assistance for cats often left vulnerable. Purrfect Pals focuses on helping cats with medical and behavioral challenges, senior cats, and others requiring long-term sanctuary care.
Miley Wilson, the clinic manager, previously informed KIRO 7 that many of these cats face dire outcomes in traditional facilities. Purrfect Pals emphasizes a lifelong commitment to the cats in their care. A spokesperson stated, "Our commitment has always been that once a cat becomes a Pals cat, they will always have a safety net with us."
This year, the organization is also planning improvements to its Arlington campus to better serve cats in need. For those unable to attend the event, Purrfect Pals is seeking volunteers and donations. Ticket sales for the Black Cat Ball are open to the public.
