Project leaders announced that the hospital will feature the region's first dedicated pet MRI machine, addressing a significant gap in high-tech veterinary services. Previously, pet owners required advanced diagnostic imaging often had to travel considerable distances for care.

The project is also anticipated to positively impact the local economy, creating at least 32 full-time jobs, including roles for five veterinarians. Hospital officials and community leaders marked the groundbreaking as a crucial investment in the local infrastructure, supporting the rising number of pet owners seeking immediate access to essential veterinary services.

Construction is currently taking place at the Loop 250 site, with the facility expected to be completed in spring 2027. Once operational, the hospital aims to provide continuous reassurance for pet owners throughout West Texas.
