The goal for this year's event is to achieve 1,200 adoptions. Since its inception in 2005, Petsense has facilitated over 223,000 pet adoptions through its Sav-A-Pet centers and various adoption events. The event is supported by several pet care brands, such as Champion, Stella & Chewy’s, Tomlyn/Vetoquinol, Frontline, Fromm, Petmate, and Purina.
Shawn Blankenship, Vice President of Petsense by Tractor Supply, emphasized the significance of the event, stating that each Adoptathon serves as a reminder of community engagement in supporting shelter animals. This event provides families with the opportunity to interact with adoptable pets in their local stores while receiving comprehensive support and savings throughout the adoption process.
Interested adopters should bring a valid photo ID, as adoption requirements and fees may differ by shelter or rescue organization. New pet parents will also receive a travel-ready adoption box, sponsored by Frontline and Hill’s Science Diet, and special offers at participating Petsense locations, including:
- 20% off one salon service.
- 30% off an entire purchase of food, treats, toys, and care items.
- In-store guidance on pet nutrition and wellness.
- Access to Tractor Supply’s Neighbor’s Club rewards program.
