Volunteer Doug McQuaid highlighted their gentle nature, noting that both dogs get along well with other animals, including cats, and are fond of children. He stated, “They’re just amazing dogs looking for a safe, soft place to retire. They love to go for walks, they love to take treats, they’ll even sit for treats. They’d be a great companion for a family that’s active.” The dogs require daily walks and would thrive as a pair in an active household.
Additionally, Robin McQuaid, another volunteer at the center, announced the 3rd annual Trunk or Treat event scheduled for Monday, October 12, from 5:30 to 6:30 PM. Businesses and individuals interested in setting up a trunk are encouraged to register through the K-9 Adoption Center’s events page. Robin expressed hope that the community would come out and support the adoption center by enjoying the festivities.
