The organization focuses on rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming abandoned, surrendered, and abused dogs along the Florida Panhandle. Founded in 2004, Save Underdogs has saved over 8,300 dogs through its volunteer efforts. Proceeds from the tournament will support medical care, shelter, and rehoming services for local dogs in need.
The entry fee for the tournament is $125 per player, which includes green fees, a golf cart, two mulligans, and food and beverages during the event. Participants will also enjoy a complimentary breakfast before the shotgun start, with additional food and drink stations available throughout the course.
The tournament is open to players aged 21 and older, with registration capped at 30 teams. Spaces are limited, and organizers urge early sign-up to secure a spot. Prizes will be awarded to top finishers, including Winners Baskets and the engraving of the winning team's name on the official Tournament Winner Plaque displayed at Perdido Key Sports Bar and Restaurant.
