This campaign also aligns with National Make a Dog’s Day, celebrated on October 22. Subaru initiated this annual event to encourage people to enhance their bond with dogs by adopting or volunteering at local animal shelters.
Community members are invited to share their Make A Dog’s Day activities on social media using the hashtag #MakeADogsDay and tagging the Blue Ridge Humane Society. For more information about the animals available for adoption or ways to get involved, visit www.blueridgehumane.org.
