Two food trucks, Roasties and Tint Temptations, were on-site to provide refreshments. Barktoberfest, which started in 2009, is celebrated annually on the second Saturday in October in Macungie.
At the fair, attendees had the opportunity to meet local rescues and discover ways to support their efforts in finding homes for animals in need. Pet owners could also explore new fashions and products for their pets, look for grooming services or pet sitters, and shop from various vendors.
The event's website highlights, "It's always a great day to be a dog at Barktoberfest!"
