ROCHESTER, N.Y. — On Thursday, October 15, Lollypop Farm will waive adoption fees for cats at both its Fairport campus and the adoption center at the Mall at Greece Ridge. Adoptions require appointments. At the Fairport location, check-in starts at 9:30 a.m., with adoptions beginning at 10 a.m. The event will continue until 5 p.m. or until capacity is reached. The Greece location will follow its regular hours, but will close when pets are no longer available.

It's important to note that kittens will not be included in the free adoption offer, and appointments are still necessary for all adoptions. Potential adopters should bring their own cat carriers for transporting their new pets. For those who cannot commit to a long-term adoption, Lollypop Farm provides a pet foster program, allowing individuals to offer temporary homes to animals. More information and registration for the foster program can be found on Lollypop Farm's website.
