Pasadena Humane is waiving adoption fees for all adult dogs and cats, aged six months and older, as part of the Hot Dog and Cool Cat Summer adoption promotion. This event will take place from July 31 to August 9, supported by the Pet Care Foundation and The Georgia B. Ridder Foundation.

Currently, nearly 100 adult dogs and cats are available for adoption. The organization aims to encourage families to adopt during one of the busiest times for the shelter. Every adoption not only provides a pet with a new home but also creates space for more animals in need.
“Summer is an especially important time for our shelter because we’re caring for so many animals at once,” said Marissa Sunny, Senior Director of Placement and Community Programs at Pasadena Humane. “Events like this help more pets find loving homes while allowing us to welcome and care for the animals still arriving each day. If you’ve been thinking about adopting, this is a wonderful opportunity to meet your new best friend and make a lasting impact.”
Animal lovers are invited to visit the shelter to meet many dogs and cats looking for homes. Adoptions are available daily from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on a first-come, first-served basis, with standard adoption screening processes in place.
