Alison Churchill, a cat adopter, shared her experience with the charity. After a family loss and the passing of her elderly cat, she adopted a one-eyed tortoiseshell named Marmite. "I stopped being miserable and spent joyous evenings rolling ping pong balls down the hall for her to chase," she recalled. After Marmite passed away four years later, Churchill adopted another tortoiseshell named Pickle. She quoted a comment from Ginny, presumably the charity’s administrator, saying, "She doesn't run a rescue centre — she runs a human/animal dating service — so I knew she'd find me another good match."
