Kathryn "Katie" Darr, DVM, emphasizes that caring for animals starts with supporting the people dedicated to their well-being. With a background as both a veterinarian and educator, Darr has focused on training students to become adept surgeons and to navigate the emotional aspects of veterinary medicine. She will be returning to her home state as she joins the Lyon College School of Veterinary Medicine, where she aims to cultivate compassionate veterinarians committed to serving communities throughout Arkansas.
