113 Dogs Adopted at McCracken County Humane Society's 'Weinerpalooza' Event

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. — A total of 113 dogs found new homes at the McCracken County Humane Society's "Weinerpalooza" adoption event after being rescued from an inhumane situation.

The event attracted over 100 attendees, with many arriving early on Saturday morning. Some individuals camped out overnight to secure their spot in line, eager to support the humane society and adopt a puppy.

Doors opened at 8:30 a.m., and the adoption process officially began at 9 a.m. While visitors had the option to apply online to prequalify for adoptions, this did not guarantee them a spot at the event. Throughout the day, the humane society posted updates on Facebook, including announcements about the final dog adopted.

The McCracken County Humane Society expressed gratitude for the overwhelming community support demonstrated during the event.
