During the rescue, deputies found numerous emaciated and malnourished dogs, but unfortunately, several had already died from starvation, according to the sheriff’s office.

Robert Walker and Brittany Walker have been taken into custody and booked into the Whitfield County Jail, facing charges of aggravated cruelty to animals. The Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office expressed gratitude to the Animal Control Unit for prioritizing the welfare of animals and emphasized that neglect or abuse of animals will result in accountability.
