Proposal for Secure Dog Exercise Park Submitted in Ringwood

The development aims to transform approximately three hectares of open field off Ellingham Drove into an enclosed area for dog exercise.

The design includes two car parks, one with eight spaces and another with seven, each accessible via pedestrian routes and equipped with dog waste bins.

Each of the four exercise areas will be surrounded by 2-meter high deer fencing to allow dogs to run off-leash in a controlled environment.

The proposed facility will operate on a pre-booking system, offering sessions of 25 and 55 minutes for individuals or small groups, typically accommodating up to four vehicles.

The applicant, Wildlife Rescue, indicated that revenue generated will support its wildlife hospital at Moyles Court, which plays a vital role in wildlife welfare and conservation in the area, earning a strong reputation for rehabilitation efforts.
