CHARLOTTE, Mich. - The Friends of Eaton County Animals hosted its second annual Woofstock event in downtown Charlotte, aimed at raising funds for the county animal shelter. Organizers noted that Woofstock saw growth in its second year, with more vendors and larger crowds attending to support abandoned and stray animals. Nicole Christensen, founder of Friends of Eaton County Animals, emphasized the event's dual purpose: “Well, it not only brings out the people and the public and gets everybody engaged, but it revolves around the animals... and that’s what we’re trying to do is protect the animals.”
