Austin Animal Services and the Austin Humane Society will host a free drive-thru vaccination and microchip event for cats and dogs on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, from 8 a.m. to noon. The entrance will open at 7 a.m., and early arrivals will not be permitted.

The event aims to provide free vaccinations and microchips for up to 1,000 pets, with no limit on the number of pets per vehicle. Both pets and their owners will remain in their vehicles throughout the event. Available vaccines include Rabies, FVRCP for cats, and DAPP for dogs. Participants are reminded that:
- Dogs must be on a leash.
- Cats should be in secure carriers.
- Pets must be at least 8 weeks old.
- Free engraving of pet collar name tags will be provided.
The entrance to the event will be located off the Highway 183 service road. This vaccination initiative is made possible by the Petco Love Foundation.
