Petsense by Tractor Supply is set to hold its annual Fall Adoptathon on Saturday, October 3, featuring adoptable pets from local shelters and rescue organizations at participating stores across the nation.

The event will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will showcase adoptable dogs, cats, and small animals. All Petsense locations participating in the event will work toward a goal of 1,200 adoptions this fall.
Since its inception in 2005, Petsense has facilitated over 223,000 pet adoptions through its Sav-A-Pet centers and nationwide events. This year's Adoptathon is supported by major pet care brands, including Champion, Stella & Chewy’s, Tomlyn/Vetoquinol, Frontline, Fromm, Petmate, and Purina.
Shawn Blankenship, Vice President of Petsense by Tractor Supply, remarked, “Every Adoptathon is a reminder of what’s possible when a community shows up for shelter animals. Our local shelter and rescue partners do incredible work year-round, and this event gives families a chance to meet adoptable pets right in their neighborhood store. We want every new pet parent to leave with the support, guidance and savings they need, on adoption day and every day after.”
Potential adopters are encouraged to bring a valid photo ID, as adoption requirements and fees may differ by shelter or rescue organization.
